Behind The Look: Full Glam on Amber

I recently had a good friend of mine come in to get a Full Glam look done. She had sent me this look by the super talented @makeupwithjah a few weeks prior so i decided to take some inspo from it. Jahs' skills are INSANE, everything is always blended to perfection and placed perfectly.

Super warm tones - reds, oranges, yellows, are some of my favourite colours to use especially on people with blue eyes. I find these tones really make the eyes pop and appear even bluer.

Eyes

With super dramatic looks like this prefer to do the eye makeup first that way I don't have to worry about fall out ruining anything I've already done and i can also let any skincare I've applied sink in.

I used the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer all over the lid to conceal any natural colours like veins and to also act as an eye shadow primer. I then used "Marbs" and "Tiger" from the LMD Master Palette by BPerfect through Ambers crease as transition colours. On her lid i used "Louise" and "Noir" also from the LMD Master Palette and then "Keen", "Shuffle" and "Lit" from the BPerfect Carnival Palette. Inner corner and brow highlight was "Hi-lite" from the LMD Master Palette. For liner and lashes I used Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner and Carousel Cosmetics "Lotta Lash" Faux Mink Lashes.

Base

For Ambers base i used the Velvet Concepts Prime Light Primer followed by their Summer Skin Foundation in Brioche with a few drops of the LA Girl White Foundation to lighten it so that it matched her. Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in C1 was used to conceal and cream highlight. Velvet Concepts Bronze Du Soleil in "Byron Bay" and Creme Chic Blush in "Amaretto". To finish of this luminous look i used Ofra highlighter in "Glazed Donut".

Brows

With Ambers hair being such a vibrant colour we decided we need to make her eyebrows match her hair a bit more. We started with LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil in "Auburn" to fill in her brows and create the shape she wanted. We then used "Lit" from the Carnival Palette very lightly to add more warmth to the brows. To set everything in place and create more depth I used the Eye of Horus Brow Fibre Extend in "Husk"

Lips

To create the perfect nude lip for this look i ended up mixing a couple shades. These were Jeffree Star Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks in "Mannequin" and "I'm Nude". I then topped this with JSC gloss in "Diamond Juice".

Creative looks like this take a little bit of time and patience but can also be a lot of fun.
