Beauty Bliss - Buy Makeup Online

Summer is by far my favourite season of the year. The weather is warm, the sky is blue, the sun is out and everyone just seems to be in a much better mood. However, the season does come with it downsides. Humidity is a mare for my hair which responds by frizzing in directions that seem to defy the laws of gravity. I have also yet to go a summer without getting lobster style sunburnt. But, this is the year that all of this changes. Beauty Bliss has an entire range of products dedicated to helping you get through the summer of 2020, whatever it may entail. I have selected a few of my absolute favourites that I never go without or am dying to try - ones I strongly recommend that you try out too!

ed&i

ed&i is a brand designed to cater to all your sun care needs. Made in New Zealand and with real whisky, these products smell amazing and will leave your skin healthy and radiant after use - enhancing your summer glow. There are 5 products in the range they offer: Before, During, After, Always and Part Time.
Before is an exfoliating scrub, designed to gently remove any dead skin that has built up (especially common in the warmer months of the year). The result is smooth, glowing skin.

During is possibly the nicest smelling SPF 30 sun cream you have ever used. Packed with naturally hydrating botanicals, it is a non-sticky and tan protecting formula - a summer must have.

After is an after-sun body oil designed to soothe, cool and hydrate skin after sun exposure. This is my favourite product of the ed&i range. It feels so nice after a day in the sun, is super easy to use and smells incredible. I am obsessed! Whenever I go on holiday, this comes with me.

Always is a body moisturiser which again, smells delicious. It helps to hydrate skin and lock in tan (great after a day of sunbathing), leaving you bronze for that much longer.

If you are trying to avoid UV rays but are wanting to achieve the tanned skin look, then Part Time is your friend. This is a self-tanning mousse (with a new updated and improved formula) which gives you that effortless golden look. No more needing to spend hours in the sun to avoid being the 'pale' friend.

Bondi Sands - Hydra Range

The Bondi Hydra range is my favourite collection from the Bondi Sands range yet. There are 4 products stocked at Beauty Bliss from the Hydra range: Hydra UV Protect SPF50+ Mist; Hydra SPF50+ Body Lotion; Hydra SPF50+ Face Lotion; and Hydra After Sun Aloe Vera Aerosol Foam (an absolute relief after a day out in the sun).
I love a sunscreen with a high SPF as if I am going to the lengths of putting on a sunscreen, I want it work. All the Hydra products containing SPF protect against both UVA and UVB rays. The Hydra Range is also beach friendly. All products are reef safe which is so important as you don't want to cause unnecessary damage to the ocean by adding toxic chemicals. They also all contain ethically sourced algae which can provide hydration to skin for up to 24 hours after application.

My favourite product from the range is the Hydra UV Protect SPF50+ Mist. It is super light, easy to apply as it is just a spray and ensures I get even application all over my body. It doesn't leave my skin white like a few sunscreens have done in the past and my skin actually feels better after I put it on. Because it is a mist and a lighter formula, it dries super quickly so when you're at the beach, your body doesn't get coated in sticky sand! The Hydra UV Protect SPF50+ Mist is an absolute need this summer.

SPF Lip Balm

I don't eat sunscreen on purpose (and I would absolutely not recommend you do so either) but sometimes residue ends up on your lips and it tastes so gross. However, just like your face and the rest of your body, your lips are prone to sunburn (which is SO painful and best to avoid) and need UV protection. Luckily, there are lip balms that contain SPF to solve all these problems and Beauty Bliss stocks two. The Burt's Bees All-Weather SPF15 Moisturizing Lip Balm and the California Mango Lip Balm SPF15 sold at Beauty Bliss are super nice to use. They both protect your lips from harmful UV rays while also keeping them hydrated. I never leave the house without one of these and you shouldn't either!

Medik8 Skincare

Medik8 is a new brand to Beauty Bliss and is the skincare range your face dreams of. All their products are packed with nourishing ingredients which have been carefully researched to achieve maximum benefits for your skin. My two favourite Medik8 products are the Cream Cleanse™ and the Daily Radiance Vitamin C™.
I love cream cleansers because they remove excess oil, dirt and make-up (even around the eyes) with ease, but are still extremely gentle on your skin. California Mango - Mango Mend Treatment Balm

While I love building up my summer feet, cracked heels are a no-go. I don't like how they look and it can be uncomfortable (for yourself and other people!). CryoCare The ColdBrush

This product is not so much an essential but one that I think is really cool and want to try. The ColdBrush is a brush that uses super cool temperatures to lock moisture into hair. The result is hair that is smoother, softer and brilliantly shiny, while controlling frizz.In the summer, my hair gets SO dry - this leads to frizz, split ends and lots of knots. The CoolBrush helps to minimise such damage (as well as general damage from using heat styling tools) and gives you a cold therapy hair treatment in your own home, at any time. It can be used on wet and dry hair. To use, you simply brush the tool through your hair as you would a regular hairbrush - that's it. It's so easy, yields great results and has innovative technology which gets me excited!

Design.ME

This brand is your summer hair's lifesaver. Design.ME is a brand dedicated to hydrating and protecting your everyday hair needs. There products from the Design.ME range that I need this summer are the PowerDry.ME Blowdrying Lotion, the Fab.ME Multi Purpose Lotion and the Gloss.ME Hydrating Treatment Mask.
The PowerDry.ME Blowdrying Lotion is the product that intrigues me the most. It claims to not only cut your hair dry time in half, but also conditions your hair, protects from harmful UV rays (?!!?!) and controls frizz - where has this product been my whole life?! It is everything I need to maintain and shield my hair from unnecessary heat damage.

My hair in summer gets dry, split and kind of disgusting. Hydrating masks are a NEED to help it maintain some life so the Gloss.ME Hydrating Treatment Mask is an essential. It uses a blend of nourishing oils and proteins, fatty acids and vitamins A, C and E to strengthen, hydrate, and moisturise hair. It also fights split ends and prevents frizz which is exactly what I need.

The Fab.ME Multi Purpose Lotion has 18 benefits in 1 - this is crazy! Basically, this is a leave in spray conditioner which additionally (to name a few) prevents frizz, detangles and strengthens hair and protects hair from free radicals, heat damage, spilt ends and breakage. Again, it's a summer must have to tackle salty after-beach hair.
