This adds so much volume & body to my roots without adding the kind of texture that makes my hair unpleasant to touch or run my hands through. I can use a small amount every day and not feel like I immediately have to wash my hair when I get home. Made my hair feel so great after i used it each time. I found that it helped my hair alot and made it feel soft and healthy

For my hair, somewhere between 2b and 3a waves/curls, this curl balm was too crunchy to use on hair that was anything less than sopping wet. Ended up using a modified bowl method to help distribute a small amount through my hair. Which was a bit more effort than I like, tbh. Also not a fan of the scent, but I can't deny it does do the job of helping curls form and stay in place.
