How to Use
Gently circle a brush in the HD Pro Powder. Tap off excess product. Apply to the skin after foundation or on bare skin using a brush.
Using a large powder brush, pick up some product with the brush and tap off excess.
Gently pat powder into the skin and dust off any excess.
Finish with a spritz of setting spray to melt powders into the skin.

Best Setting Powder
My most favourite setting powder. Doesn't leave you dusty or grey. Doesn't make your under eyes look crepey. Have tried other brands including more expensive ones and some have either been utterly useless or the difference isn't big enough to justify spending more $$$ when L.A. Girl HD Pro Setting Powder does a brilliant job for brown skin with an oily T zone like mine.

Great for oily skin
If used properly this will set your face for easily 10 hours without touch ups. I have oily skin and apply this over my T zone at the beginning of the day with a fluffy brush. Has a great blurring effect for big pores. I have tried so many pressed and loose powders and this is the ONLY one that keeps my makeup set all day. You do have to use a light hand and absolutely do not bake with it otherwise you will be left looking patchy and dry. Agree that it creates flash-back but as an everyday powder this does a fantastic job.

Perfect at the end of makeup application.
I wear minimal makeup and use this at the end to take away that sticky feel after foundation and setting spray application, works great and doesn’t leave any white on your face.

You get what you pay for. Very white, rather than translucent, and is no good for photographs due to flashback.

This product smells so bad. It makes your makeup clumpy, and whitens your face so badly. Saw a picture of myself and I looked like a ghost, do not recommend.

Makes your face look very light/white or just like a ghost, major flash back and is patchy. DO NOT BUY, save yourself a waste of money and buy the revolution or maybelline powder which are around the same price instead.

WORST POWDER EVER DO NOT BUY!? I’m so confused at all the reviews because none of them point out how this powder is NOT even a FINE powder it smells like Panadol that has been badly milled and chucked in a container I couldn’t even bring myself to put it on my face because I couldn’t get past the smell SO TERRIBLE

It sets makeup fine but will darken or oxidise parts of the face and well as a white cast on other patches. DO NOT USE FOR FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY (unless you want to be a ghost)

Don’t really understand why this has good reviews... sure it set my foundation, but left my skin looking absolutely awful I can’t describe it. My foundation underneath would like separate and cling on the dry patches of skin. Wouldn’t recommend

Good for the price but I find that any tiny little bit of dry skin it just sticks to and makes it so obvious! Plus the flash back isn't great! BUT it does feel lovely and soft, I recommend using a brush to really make sure there is no excess.

Perfect setting powder. Lightweight and definitely makes your makeup stay on longer. I'm not normally a fan of loose powders but this is definitely one of the best I've used

It's average. Not good quality but good for the price (for nz). I recommend using a very small amount and lightly dusting over the face. It does leave pale patches, especially where light is shining on your face.

Great Product, sets and blurs my face very well. It's a great buy especially for the price as it's the least expensive of all setting powders I've seen but the quality is high. All my buys come beautifully packed :)

Makes skin feel nice but if you put it on take a picture of your self with flash on its gross MAJOR flash back highly do not recommend if you get photos taken

I like this product! Makes the makeup look perfect and matte and keeps it on for ages!! BUT BE WARNED when takeing photos DO NOT use flash as the flash back of this product is horrendous It gives you white circles around your eyes if you bake with it and white cheeks if you try to set with it...yet it is a beautiful product!

Just came to buy a new one of these to find it is out of stock! I am not surprised though, it is an excellent product and in combination with the LA Girl banana powder, it is a winner in my makeup collection. I apply this on the high points of my face with a big fluffy brush and the banana powder with a smaller brush under my eyes and my foundation stays on all day. Highly recommend buying both.

This powder is great, and keeps your make up in place all day. However, it will flash back in flash photography, but if you just use it to set you under eyes it usually isn't a problem - I wore it to my ball and it looked great!

I find it makes my foundation go darker in some areas and extremely pale in others, not a fan of the smell either it kind of reminds me of baby powder

It's not bad but you have to be really careful about how much you use and that you dust it all off your face, in normal room light it might look like it's nice but if you go into the sun or bright lights it shows!! But does set quite nicely though.

Good product! The powder itself is great - does the job well and mattifies skin, but the packaging is a little clumsy. It can be pretty difficult to open and close the container without getting powder everywhere. Also I think the little powder puff it comes with is a little unnecessary; I recommend applying this product with a brush. Overall the product itself is good, I recommend it for an inexpensive setting powder.
