Bakuchiol - A clinically proven alternative to retinol, bakuchiol helps to stimulate collagen and elastin production, smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Incredibly gentle, it is suitable for those that cannot usually tolerate vitamin A.
Brightening Peptide Precursors - A lipo-amino acid that can penetrate the natural skin barrier with ease. They stop the action of MSH (melanin stimulating hormone), therefore blocking the production of melanin, for a visibly brighter and even skin tone.
Centella Asiatica - A naturally-derived anti-inflammatory with incredible wound healing benefits on the skin.

Q: Can I use Bakuchiol Peptides if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
A: Yes, you can. Bakuchiol Peptides is a plant-based alternative to retinol formulas and is therefore ideal for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Although Bakuchiol Peptides has not been tested on pregnant women due to ethical considerations, there is nothing in the formula which is known to cause any issues during pregnancy or nursing (e.g. vitamin A or high levels of exfoliating acids). If you are at all concerned, always consult your doctor before use.
Q: Can I use Bakuchiol Peptides alongside vitamin C products?
A: Absolutely. In fact, Medik8 recommend it as per their pioneering CSA Philosophy; vitamin C plus sunscreen by day, vitamin A by night. We would also recommend applying your vitamin C serum before Bakuchiol Peptides, and remember that Bakuchiol Peptides acts as your vitamin A within any CSA routines.

I can see the results already, and I don't get any of the peeling associated with retinol use - it's way more gentle! But it works. I can use it every day mixed in with my other serum. Highly suggest if you have super sensitive skin like mine.

I love this serum. I got it cause I didn’t want to use retinol every night as it was making my skin very sensitive and use it with this on alternative nights. The best my skin has been helps with flare ups and my skin just looks better. It is more like a oil than a serum but not quite like a oil as it does soak into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy.

been using product for about a month now, I have very sensitive skin and I've had no flare ups. As a serum it's more like an oil which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5. I'm going to continue to use, as my skin is softer & it appears to like this product🙂 Overnight delivery too!!
