For my hair, somewhere between 2b and 3a waves/curls, this curl balm was too crunchy to use on hair that was anything less than sopping wet. Ended up using a modified bowl method to help distribute a small amount through my hair. Which was a bit more effort than I like, tbh. Also not a fan of the scent, but I can't deny it does do the job of helping curls form and stay in place.

This curl balm did a good job of separating my curls. Was creamy enough, but a tad crunchy. Although I am new to using curl cremes so this might have been my application. Size for money was decent value.
